GoatGuns makes die-cast miniature model guns. They are non-firing display models with working parts, like moving bolts, charging handles, slides and magazine releases. They come in four scales, and the scale decides which magazines, optics and stocks fit, and how a model sits in a rack or case. This guide lists every GoatGuns model we carry by scale, then covers accessories and display options.
What the scales mean
A 1/3 scale model is one third the size of the real thing, so a 1/3 AR15 is roughly a foot long. Pistols come in larger scales (1/2.5 and 1/2.05) so their small parts stay detailed. Long guns like the Barrett .50 cal and M1 Garand come in 1/4 scale so they don't get too long.
1/3 scale models
1/3 is the main GoatGuns scale and has the biggest range of accessories.
- AR15 family: the Charky (flat black with mini suppressor), Nocturnal, Necromancer skeleton, Short Barrel in coyote tan, Thin Blue Line SWAT Edition, and a raw diecast finish ready for custom paint
- M16A1: flat black, OD Green Grenadier with M203 launcher, and the yellow "Don't Tread on Me" special edition

How to display GoatGuns
- Gun racks: the 10-slot acrylic rack in black or Realtree camo holds a row of 1/3 scale rifles.
- Wall mounts: round or square peg mounts with 3M adhesive, in 4-packs.
- Holsters: acrylic display holsters for the 1911 and M17.
- Ammo can: a die-cast olive green ammo can to set beside a display.
- LED display case: our own 1/3 scale gun case with RGB COB LED lights holds one or two 1/3 scale models, with color-changing lighting for a desk or shelf. To check which models fit, see models that fit the top tray and models that fit the bottom tray. There's also a USA 250 edition case that comes with a GoatGuns AR-15.
Quick answers
Are GoatGuns real guns? No. They're die-cast display models and can't fire. The dummy rounds are non-firing display pieces.
Do 1/3 accessories fit 1/4 models? No. Accessories are made for a specific scale and model, so match both before you buy.
Which model should I start with? The 1/3 AR15 has the most accessories, so it's the easiest to customize. The Starter Kit gives you three models and a rack in one box.
