These are the parts that take up free play in the drivetrain and suspension and let you fine-tune how the car is assembled.

Shims are easy to lose and impossible to improvise at this scale. Having the factory set on the bench means you can rebuild a diff, a bulkhead or a hub exactly the way the manual calls for, instead of settling for whatever is left in the parts tray.

Key Features

Genuine Team Associated TC28 replacement part, item 21480

Speciality shims sized specifically for the TC28 platform

Covers the shim locations called out in the TC28 build manual

Convenient single bag for rebuilds and spares

Performance Benefits

Takes slop out of drivetrain and suspension assemblies

Lets you set bearing and axle preload precisely

Reduces friction and binding for a freer-rolling car

Keeps left and right sides built identically

Usage Notes

Follow the TC28 manual for which shim goes where

Aim for zero binding with no detectable end play

Work over a tray or magnetic mat so shims do not disappear

Re-check shimming after a rebuild or a heavy impact

Technical Specs

Brand: Team Associated

Item No.: ASC21480

Platform: Team Associated TC28 1/28 scale 4WD touring car

Part Type: Speciality shim set

Country of Origin: Taiwan

What's Included

(1) TC28 speciality shim set

Fitment

Compatible RC vehicles: Team Associated TC28 1/28 scale 4WD electric touring car.

Summary

Factory shim assortment for the TC28

Correct sizes for drivetrain and suspension builds

Keeps tolerances tight and the car free-rolling

Cheap insurance for any rebuild
