Overview
The AFX 1967 Ford GT40 Mk IV #1 22042 honors one of motorsport's most historic victories — A.J. Foyt and Dan Gurney's all-American win at the 1967 Le Mans 24 Hours. Built on the J5 chassis with a raised roof known as the "Gurney Bubble" to accommodate its tall driver, this red #1 MKIV led within the first 90 minutes and finished four laps ahead of its closest competitor.
Only ten MKIVs were ever produced (five raced), and they dominated the era with record-breaking runs at Sebring and Le Mans. AFX's tribute captures this legend in HO scale on the Mega G+ Short wheelbase chassis.
