This Team Associated Factory Team 22T 48 pitch pinion gear is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard anodized, with the tooth count laser-etched on the gear for quick identification. It mounts on a 1/8" motor shaft and meshes with a 48 pitch spur gear. Changing pinion size is the simplest way to tune gearing: a larger pinion raises top speed, while a smaller one favors acceleration and lower motor temperatures.
