Overview
The Team Associated RC12R8 is an all-new 1:12 scale electric on-road racing platform developed by Area 51 for top-level competition. It pairs a hybrid steel and carbon fiber center chassis with a 2mm 7075-T6 aluminum lower spring chassis for an ultra-low center of gravity, high rigidity and fast, precise adjustability.
An all-new triple central pivot design eliminates tweak while maximizing cornering rigidity, giving consistent handling and precise chassis feel without a traditional rear pod. The RC12R8 ships as an unassembled Factory Team kit, built and set up by the racer.
