Corally Kagama XP 6S 1/8 Scale 4WD Monster Truck RTR (Blue) | RC Vehicle

Overview

The Corally Kagama XP 6S 1/8 Scale 4WD Monster Truck RTR (Blue) is Team Corally's flagship 1/8 6S monster truck — purpose-built for serious bashing using the latest engineering, premium materials, and feedback from real-world bashers. Topping out at 110+ km/h on 6S, the Kagama XP is the answer to every serious basher's dream: a no-compromise platform that handles wheel-standing launches, big-air jumps, hard landings, and aggressive driving with confidence-inspiring durability. This listing is for the Ready-to-Run (RTR) configuration. It arrives factory-assembled with a complete 6S electronics package — Kuron 825 4-pole 2050kV brushless motor, Torox 185 4-6S ESC with LiPo protection, Varioprop CR-HV 7225 25kg HV digital steering servo, and CR2T 2.4GHz radio with 300m+ range — drop in a battery and start dominating any terrain, finished in a striking 2-tone scheme combining gloss and matte elements with bold blue accents.

Built around a massive 3mm-thick aluminum main chassis plate with machined pockets, the Kagama XP features Team Corally's hyper-rigid central tube chassis brace system using 12mm aluminum tubes — a backbone of enormous strength engineered specifically to absorb monster-truck-level impacts. Heavy-duty front and rear chassis braces, reinforced chassis side guards with integrated body protection, and front and rear bumpers with integrated skid plates protect the chassis from every angle. The bulletproof drivetrain features a hardened steel spur gear and motor pinion, three sealed metal differentials individually silicone-oil filled, an aluminum/steel central differential with quick-access design, complete hard-coated S2 steel outdrives, extra-surface-hardened steel front CVD joints, a 52T steel central gear, and aluminum 17mm drive hexes — the same drivetrain DNA used in Corally's competition machines.

Suspension is engineered for monster-truck duty. Large CNC-machined 5mm aluminum front and rear shock towers anchor super-smooth 16mm threaded big-bore aluminum oil shocks with hard springs, 4mm tuned pistons (handles very thick silicone oils for serious damping), and oversized lower shock ends for durability. HD front steering blocks and rear hubs feature anodized aluminum hinge pin and pivot ball retainers — critical durability upgrades for big-bashing loads — paired with extra-thick 8mm aluminum suspension pin braces secured by an 8× M4-screw ultimate bulkhead mounting system, heavy-duty composite suspension links and tie rods, the Team Corally RSP anti-roll bar system (front and rear), and rear suspension arms with large mud guards to protect drivetrain components from dirt and debris. Pre-glued high-grip "Gripper" rubber racing tires on BBS-style multi-spoke rims (sharing aesthetic DNA with the Punisher and Jambo) deliver outstanding traction balanced for grip, wear resistance, and handling. The reinforced high-downforce wing with tower-connecting brace, durable polycarbonate body with additional molded roof skids, and 3mm 7075 aluminum double-deck Ackermann steering system complete one of the most capable, durable, and tunable 1/8 6S monster trucks on the market — the platform that bashers helped design, built for bashers like you.

Performance Benefits

• Built by bashers, for bashers: Customer feedback drove the entire design — every component, geometry choice, and durability feature exists because real-world bashers identified the need. The result is a platform that addresses the actual failure points of typical race-converted monster trucks.
• 110+ km/h 6S performance: Full 6S brushless power (22.2V) delivers blistering acceleration, sustained top speed beyond 110 km/h, and the kind of explosive launches that make this truck feel utterly unstoppable.
• Massive impact resistance: The 12mm aluminum tube central brace system, ultimate bulkhead mounting (8× M4 screws), and extra-thick 8mm aluminum suspension pin braces are all engineered to handle impacts that destroy lesser monster trucks — drop-tested durability.
• Drivetrain that doesn't quit: Hardened S2 steel CVDs, hardened steel outdrives, aluminum/steel central diff, and 52T steel central gear are sized for sustained 6S abuse without stripping or failing under repeated heavy loads.
• Anti-pop-out steering reliability: Re-engineered HD pillow-ball steering blocks specifically prevent the ball pop-out failure common on race-derived blocks under extreme bashing loads.
• Aggressive jump-and-land geometry: Wide stance, low-CG aluminum chassis, and properly engineered weight distribution keep the Kagama XP stable and predictable through long jumps — flat-landing where lesser trucks tumble.
• Tunable damping for any terrain: 16mm aluminum shocks with 4mm pistons handle very heavy silicone oils — the heavy damping needed for big jumps, while still tunable for smaller terrain.
• RSP anti-roll bar tunability: Front and rear sway bars let you adjust how the chassis responds to weight transfer in corners and over jumps — a competition-grade feature in a bashing platform.
• Drivetrain protection: Large mud guards on the rear suspension arms keep dirt, rocks, and debris away from the rear driveshafts — significantly extending drivetrain service life in dusty or muddy conditions.
• Splash- and dustproof electronics: Sealed electronics box with transponder mount keeps moisture, dirt, and debris out of the ESC and receiver during damp grass, dust, or light rain.
• Premium ready-to-run experience: Factory-installed CT2R-derived 6S electronics package and CR2T radio with 300m+ range give you confident long-distance control right out of the box.

Usage Notes

• Battery selection: Use 4S LiPo (14.8V) for moderate runs, 5S for balanced performance, or 6S LiPo (22.2V) for full-throttle 110+ km/h experience — XT90 connector required.
• Break-in: Run the first 2-3 packs at moderate throttle to break in the gears, bearings, drivetrain, and tire glue.
• Diff oil tuning: Three independent diffs let you bias traction front-to-rear — heavier front oil reduces understeer; heavier rear oil increases rear bite; center diff oil controls front/rear power transfer under acceleration.
• Shock setup for monster truck duty: Use heavy silicone oils (50-70+ wt) and stiff springs for big-air bashing to prevent bottoming. The 4mm pistons are designed for these heavy oils.
• Anti-roll bar tuning: Stiffer front bar = less front grip and more push; stiffer rear bar = more rotation. Start neutral and adjust based on driving style.
• Motor temp monitoring: Keep motor temps under 180°F (82°C) under sustained 6S bashing — allow cool-down between hard runs.
• Tire wear: The "Gripper" tires excel on dirt, grass, and packed surfaces; abrasive concrete or asphalt accelerates wear significantly.
• Crash inspection: After heavy crashes, inspect chassis tubes for bends, drive shafts for binding, suspension arms for cracks, and bumper/skid plates for damage.
• Splash precaution: Splash-proof, NOT waterproof — avoid puddles deeper than the wheel hubs, never submerge.
• Maintenance interval: After every 5-10 packs of hard bashing, perform a full pre-flight check: drivetrain, suspension pivots, shock seals, electronics, body mounts, and battery strap.
• Battery storage: Always store LiPos at storage voltage (~3.85V/cell) in a fireproof bag; never leave installed in the truck between sessions.
