Overview
The Corally Shiroi XP6 1/8 6S Short Course Truck - RTR (Blue) is the Ready-to-Run (RTR) configuration of Team Corally's flagship 1/8 scale 6S short course truck. It arrives factory-assembled with a complete electronics package — Kuron 825 4-pole 2050kV brushless motor, Hobbywing-derived Torox 185 ESC, CR-HV 7225 25kg digital metal-gear steering servo, and CT2R 2.4GHz radio system — so you simply add a battery, charger, and four AA cells for the transmitter to start driving.
At its core, the Shiroi XP6 is built around a 3mm CNC-machined aluminum chassis reinforced with a tower-to-tower brace and tall composite side guards — a hyper-rigid hybrid architecture that handles repeated 6S launches, rough terrain, and demanding landings without flexing or fatiguing. A bulletproof steel drivetrain — CNC-cut hardened steel spur gear, precision-cast planetary differential gears, three silicone-oil-filled diffs, and heavy-duty CVD driveshafts — transfers full 6S power to the wheels while remaining serviceable for race-day tuning. Oversized 16mm big-bore aluminum threaded shocks mounted to 5mm CNC aluminum towers provide consistent damping that you can fine-tune via spring rates and shock oil weights to match any track or yard.
The Shiroi XP6 captures the visual aggression of full-scale Lucas Oil and Baja-style desert racers thanks to a molded interior cockpit, scale roof rack, race-correct front and rear bumpers, and a pre-cut polycarbonate body painted in the blue colorway. Custom Mudclaws SC tires on black multi-spoke composite wheels deliver real grip on loose dirt, grass, and gravel while completing the authentic short course look. With dimensions of 620mm length × 315mm width × 388mm wheelbase and a curb weight of approximately 5250g (without battery), the Shiroi XP6 sits between traditional 1/8 buggies and full-size short course trucks — large enough to soak up rough surfaces yet agile enough for technical driving. Whether you use it for backyard bashing, dirt-track speed runs, or scale-style off-road adventures, the Shiroi XP6 delivers the rugged, confidence-inspiring 6S experience hobbyists demand from a flagship Team Corally platform.

Performance Benefits
-
Authentic short course handling: The wide stance, scale-correct geometry, and Mudclaws SC tires deliver the planted, controllable feel of full-size desert racing trucks across dirt, gravel, grass, and packed surfaces.
-
Massive 6S power headroom: The 4-pole brushless drivetrain produces aggressive acceleration and high top-end speed on 6S, while running 4S delivers a tamer, longer-runtime experience for casual driving.
-
Confident high-speed launches: The reinforced 3mm aluminum chassis and tower-to-tower brace resist torsional flex during 6S launches and hard landings, keeping suspension geometry consistent.
-
Tunable damping for any surface: Threaded big-bore aluminum shocks accept different oil weights and spring rates, allowing you to soften the suspension for rough yards or stiffen it for high-speed jumps.
-
Race-bred drivetrain efficiency: CNC-cut steel gears and triple oil-filled diffs minimize parasitic loss, transferring more battery energy directly to the tires for longer runtimes per pack.
-
Long service life under abuse: Hardened steel CVDs, sealed bearings, and reinforced composite suspension components are engineered for the repeated impacts that come with high-speed bashing.
Usage Notes
-
Battery selection: Use 4S LiPo (14.8V) for relaxed driving and longer runtimes, or 6S LiPo (22.2V) for full-throttle bashing performance — XT90 connector required.
-
Break-in run: For the first 1-2 packs, drive at moderate throttle to allow the gears, bearings, and tire glue to bed in properly before going full-send.
-
Tire prep: Mudclaws SC tires excel on loose, soft surfaces — for hard-packed asphalt or concrete, expect faster tire wear and reduced grip; consider on-road tires for that environment.
-
Post-run maintenance: After each session inspect drive cups, suspension pivots, and shock seals for wear; clean dirt from the chassis and electronics bay before storage.
-
Diff oil tuning: Heavier diff oil in the front increases on-power push (understeer); heavier oil in the rear adds rear traction. Center diff oil affects how power transfers between front and rear under acceleration.
-
Gearing: Stock gearing balances acceleration and top speed — monitor motor temps before changing pinion size, and never exceed 180°F (82°C) under load.
-
Storage: Always store LiPo batteries at storage voltage (~3.85V/cell) in a fireproof bag; remove the battery from the truck between sessions.
