Corally Spark XB6 1/8 Scale 6S 4WD Basher Buggy RTR (Blue) | RC Vehicle

Overview

The Corally Spark XB6 1/8 Scale 6S 4WD Basher Buggy RTR (Blue) is the first true 1:8 bash buggy from Team Corally — purpose-built from the ground up for hardcore bashing rather than adapted from a race platform. Customer feedback drove the design, with 46+ specific improvements over previous bash buggies. The result is a 1/8 6S monster that delivers genuine high-power bashing performance with race-derived precision and engineering. This listing is for the Ready-to-Run (RTR) configuration. It arrives factory-assembled with a complete 6S electronics package — Kuron 825 4-pole 2050kV brushless motor, Torox 185A 4-6S ESC with LiPo protection, CR-HV 7225 25kg HV metal-gear steering servo, and Team Corally CT2R 2.4GHz radio system — so you simply add a 6S battery, charger, and AA batteries to start bashing, finished with a striking matte black base accented in bold blue.

The Spark XB6 separates itself from race-converted buggies through purpose-built bashing engineering at every level. The chassis features a 3mm aluminum main plate, X-Treme ultra-rigid hybrid chassis brace system at the front, center, and rear, reinforced chassis side guards with integrated body protection, a heavy-duty front bumper, and a central chassis reinforcement system with 3mm aluminum plate — designed to absorb the high-energy impacts that destroy lesser platforms. The drivetrain is bulletproof: hardened steel spur gear and motor pinion, three sealed metal differentials individually filled with silicone oil, an aluminum/steel central differential with quick-access design, complete hard-coated S2 steel outdrives, extra-surface-hardened steel front CVD joints, a 46T steel central gear, and a 2-piece adjustable aluminum motor holder with composite gear cover. Aluminum 17mm drive hexes complete the heavy-duty drive package.

The Spark XB6's suspension is engineered specifically for jumping, landing, and absorbing terrain that would damage race-spec geometry. CNC-machined 5mm aluminum shock towers (front and rear) anchor super-smooth 16mm threaded big-bore aluminum oil shocks with hard springs and 4mm-thick tuned shock pistons designed for very thick silicone oils. Oversized HD 13mm-thick composite suspension arms with aluminum anti-tear rings, oversized HD composite "pillow ball" steering blocks (re-engineered to prevent ball pop-out under extreme loads), oversized composite steering and rear camber links, CNC-machined 4mm aluminum arm holders, and a Team Corally RSP front and rear anti-roll bar system deliver the geometry, durability, and tunability needed for serious 6S bashing. Pre-glued high-speed XL buggy tires (130mm) on black 6-spoke nylon rims with 17mm hexes are matched to 6S power, while the splash- and dustproof electronics box, XL adjustable battery holder (accommodating packs up to 161×50mm), 3mm 7075 aluminum double-deck steering Ackermann system, and reinforced high-downforce wing with tower-connecting brace round out a serious 1/8 bash platform that's ready for everything from backyard fun to extreme stunt sessions.

Performance Benefits

• Built for bashing, not converted from racing: Every component is engineered specifically to handle the impacts, jumps, and abuse of bashing — chassis, suspension, drivetrain, and electronics box are all overbuilt for the application, unlike race buggies that fail prematurely when bashed.
• 6S power capability: The platform is engineered to handle full 6S brushless power (22.2V), delivering massive acceleration, towering top speeds, and the kind of effortless big-air launches that lower-voltage platforms can't match.
• Bulletproof drivetrain: Hardened steel CVDs, S2 steel outdrives, aluminum/steel central diff, and 46T steel central gear are sized to handle 6S torque and heavy landings without stripping or failing.
• Anti-pop-out steering blocks: Re-engineered HD composite pillow-ball steering blocks specifically prevent the ball pop-out failure that's common on race-derived blocks under extreme bashing loads — a critical durability upgrade.
• Aggressive jump-and-land geometry: Wide track, low-CG aluminum chassis, and the X-Treme hybrid chassis brace system keep the buggy stable through long jumps, where narrow race-spec geometry tumbles.
• Big-bore aluminum shocks for serious damping: 16mm aluminum threaded shocks with 4mm tuned pistons handle very thick silicone oils — the heavy damping required to soak up huge jumps and prevent bottoming.
• RSP anti-roll bar system: Tunable front and rear sway bars let you adjust how much the chassis rolls in corners and how the buggy responds to weight transfer — a feature usually reserved for race platforms.
• Long service life: Premium materials, oversized components throughout, and bash-proven engineering mean a Spark XB6 can take years of abuse and still deliver top performance with normal wear-item replacement.
• Splash-proof electronics: Sealed electronics box with transponder mount keeps moisture, dirt, and debris out of the ESC and receiver during damp or dusty conditions.
• True ready-to-run experience: Factory-installed 6S electronics package means you just add a battery and start bashing — no electronics shopping, no soldering, no setup work.

Usage Notes

• Battery selection: Use 4S LiPo (14.8V) for moderate performance and longer runtimes, 5S for balanced bashing, or 6S LiPo (22.2V) for full-throttle 6S performance — XT90 connector required, accepts up to 161×50mm packs.
• Break-in: Run the first 2-3 packs at moderate throttle to break in the gears, bearings, and shock seals before going full-send.
• Diff oil tuning: Three independent diffs let you fine-tune handling — heavier front oil reduces understeer; heavier rear oil increases rear bite; center oil controls power transfer between front and rear.
• Shock setup for jumps: Use heavy silicone oils (~50-60+ wt) and stiff springs for big-air bashing to prevent bottoming. The 4mm pistons are designed for these heavy oils — don't run lighter than 30 wt with this piston design.
• Anti-roll bar tuning: Stiffer front sway bar = less front grip in corners (more pushing); stiffer rear = more rotation. Start neutral and adjust based on track conditions.
• Pinion options: If running RTR electronics, the motor mount supports common pinion sizes — increase pinion for top speed (raises motor temps), decrease for acceleration.
• Tire selection: The pre-glued XL buggy tires are matched to 6S power and excel on dirt, grass, and packed surfaces; rough concrete will accelerate wear significantly.
• Wing care: The high-downforce wing produces real downforce at speed — inspect mounting hardware regularly and replace the wing if cracked, as a damaged wing can cause unstable high-speed handling.
• Splash precaution: Splash-proof — NOT waterproof. Avoid puddles deeper than the wheel hubs and never submerge.
• Post-run maintenance: Brush dirt and debris off the chassis, check shock seals and diff seals, inspect drive cups, hinge pins, and pivot balls for wear; tighten loose hardware.
• Motor temp monitoring: Keep motor temps under 180°F (82°C) — under sustained 6S bashing, allow the motor to cool between hard runs.
• Battery storage: Always store LiPos at storage voltage (~3.85V/cell) in a fireproof bag; never leave a battery installed when not driving.
