Corally Syncro - 4 1/8 Scale 4S Brushless 4WD Off-Road Buggy RTR (Green) | RC Vehicle

Overview

The Corally Syncro-4 1/8 Scale 4S Brushless 4WD Off-Road Buggy RTR (Green) is Team Corally's value-driven 1/8 scale 4S bash buggy — engineered to deliver legitimate race-derived performance and durability at an unbeatable price point. Sharing over 80% of its components with Team Corally's flagship 6S race platforms (including the Radix6 and Sketer), the Syncro-4 packs serious 1/8 buggy DNA into a 4S configuration that's approachable for beginners while still satisfying experienced bashers and aspiring racers.

Power comes from a Kuron 725 4-pole 2150kV sensorless brushless motor paired with the Torox 135 ESC (2-4S LiPo with built-in LiPo protection) — a combination capable of producing 80+ km/h (50+ mph) on a 4S pack. Steering is handled by the CR-HV 7225 25kg HV digital metal-gear servo, with a precision aluminum servo arm and one-piece composite steering link for sharp, race-quality response. The included CT2S compact 2.4GHz transmitter offers steering dual rate, servo reverse, and a 50%/100% power switch — letting newcomers learn the buggy at half throttle before unlocking full 4S performance. Range exceeds 200m for confident control across large open driving areas.

Construction reflects the Syncro-4's race-oriented heritage. The 3mm laser-etched aluminum chassis plate is reinforced with a hyper-rigid hybrid chassis brace system featuring a 3mm aluminum central reinforcement plate, plus reinforced chassis side guards with integrated body protection. The drivetrain is built around all-steel components — hardened steel outdrives, extra-surface-hardened front steel CVD joints, a 46T steel central spur gear, three sealed silicone-oil-filled differentials, and aluminum 17mm drive hexes. The suspension uses independent pivot-ball front and double-wishbone rear geometry with HiCC8 polymer suspension arms inherited directly from Corally's 6S race lineup, paired with threaded 16mm big-bore composite oil-filled shocks, X-Treme composite shock towers (with the rear tower integrating a wing mount for added functionality), 4mm aluminum suspension pin braces, and HD steering blocks. Striking factory-painted polycarbonate body in green, factory-glued high-speed low-profile tires on multi-spoke composite wheels, and a reinforced high-downforce wing complete the aggressive race-buggy look. Whether you're stepping up from entry-level RC or want a genuine 1/8 platform without 6S running costs, the Syncro-4 Green delivers race-derived performance with bashing-grade durability at remarkable value.

Performance Benefits

• Race-platform DNA at bash-buggy pricing: 80%+ component compatibility with Corally's 6S race lineup means the Syncro-4 inherits geometry, drivetrain, and suspension engineering normally reserved for premium platforms — at a fraction of the cost.
• Genuine 50+ mph 4S performance: The Kuron 725 + Torox 135 combo on 4S delivers true 1/8 buggy speed and acceleration — far beyond entry-level RTRs.
• Beginner-friendly power management: The 50%/100% switch lets newcomers learn the buggy safely at half power, then unlock full 4S performance as confidence builds — making this an excellent first 1/8 platform.
• Race-grade tunability: Three independently silicone-filled diffs, threaded shocks, multiple pinion options, and adjustable suspension geometry allow precise tuning for your driving style or local track conditions.
• Predictable handling: Pivot-ball front suspension with HD composite steering blocks delivers sharp, repeatable steering response; double-wishbone rear geometry provides consistent grip and predictable rotation.
• Aerodynamic stability: The reinforced high-downforce wing keeps the rear planted on high-speed straights and through fast jumps, allowing more aggressive throttle application.
• Durability under abuse: HiCC8 suspension arms, hardened steel CVDs, and reinforced chassis braces shrug off the impacts and crashes typical of 1/8 buggy bashing — minimizing repairs.
• Splash-proof electronics: Sealed electronics box keeps moisture and debris out — light rain, dewy grass, or damp dirt won't shut down a session.
• Easy maintenance: Quick-access diff design, splash-proof electronics box, and adjustable battery holder make pit-lane work fast and tool-friendly.

Usage Notes

• Battery selection: 2S LiPo for casual driving with longer runtimes; 3S for balanced performance; 4S (14.8V) for full 80+ km/h top speed — XT90 connector required, max 161×51×38mm pack size.
• Break-in period: Run the first 2-3 packs at 50% power to bed in the gears, drivetrain, and tire glue before going to full throttle.
• Pinion gear options: Motor mount supports 13T, 15T, and 17T pinions — taller pinions raise top speed but heat the motor; smaller pinions improve acceleration and run cooler.
• Diff oil tuning: Three independent diffs let you fine-tune handling — heavier front oil reduces on-power push; heavier rear oil increases rear traction; center oil controls power transfer.
• Shock tuning: Lighter shock oils (~30-40 wt) for smoother surfaces and small jumps; heavier oils (~45-55 wt) for big jumps to prevent bottoming out.
• Tire selection: The factory low-profile tires excel on hard-packed dirt and grass — for loose dirt or sand, consider full-tread off-road tires; abrasive concrete or asphalt will accelerate wear.
• Splash precaution: Splash-proof, NOT waterproof — avoid driving through standing water or deep mud.
• Post-run maintenance: Brush dirt and grass off the chassis, inspect shock seals, drive cups, and pivot points; tighten any loose hardware.
• Motor temp monitoring: Keep motor temps under 180°F (82°C) — reduce pinion size or shorten sessions if the motor runs hot.
• Body care: The factory-painted body is durable but not crashproof — replacement bodies are widely available; use the included body roof protector to extend body life.
