Corally Asuga XLR 6S Roller 4WD 1/7 Scale Buggy Kit (Green) | RC Vehicle

Overview

The Corally Asuga XLR 6S 1/7 Scale 4WD Off-Road Buggy Roller (Green) is Team Corally's groundbreaking large-scale electric buggy — built for drivers who want to go bigger, faster, and tougher than any traditional 1/8 platform allows. Approximately 15% larger than typical 1/8 buggies, the Asuga XLR introduces an entirely new class of large-scale electric off-road performance with greater ground clearance, longer suspension travel, oversized components, and the proven Team Corally 6S drivetrain DNA. This listing is for the Roller (rolling chassis) configuration. Sold without electronics, this version is for drivers who want to install their own preferred motor, ESC, servo, and radio system to create a fully customized 1/7 large-scale 6S buggy.

Built around a massive 3mm aluminum main chassis plate protected by reinforced side guards, the Asuga XLR uses an ultra-rigid hybrid central chassis brace system and CNC-machined adjustable aluminum motor mount paired with a hybrid aluminum/steel central differential to deliver the chassis stiffness and drivetrain efficiency needed to handle full 6S brushless power. The drivetrain is built for serious abuse: three fluid-filled precision differentials with CNC-machined spiral-cut metal input and main gears, hardened S2 steel drive joints and axles, ABEC-3 rubber-sealed ball bearings throughout, and aluminum 17mm drive hexes. Suspension uses oversized 16mm threaded big-bore aluminum shocks with hard springs, 4mm tuned pistons, and oversized lower shock ends, anchored to 5mm CNC-machined aluminum front and rear shock towers. Heavy-duty composite suspension arms (13mm thick) feature aluminum hinge pin and pivot ball retainers, with the front upper arms enhanced by an aerodynamic control kit that boosts handling and steering response. Solid 8mm aluminum suspension pin holders are secured by eight 4mm screws each — featuring adjustable composite toe-in modules — while heavy-duty composite steering blocks with the new pillow-ball securement system, oversized composite rear hubs, and reinforced steering and camber links round out a suspension system engineered for the loads imposed by 1/7 scale, 6S power, and aggressive driving.

The Asuga XLR is engineered specifically to make the most of 6S brushless power. Sprint RXA 130mm low-profile high-grip tires are sized and compounded for 6S propulsion, delivering the traction needed to apply explosive acceleration without losing control. Modern shaped front and rear bumpers with skid plates protect the chassis at every angle. Inside, the buggy features the Team Corally CT2R 2.4GHz radio system with digital trims, steering dual rate, and servo reverse for confident control across the buggy's massive performance envelope. Approximately 70% of the parts are interchangeable with Team Corally's existing 1/8 platforms, ensuring exceptional spare parts availability. With dimensions of approximately 584mm length × 372mm width × 384mm wheelbase × 75mm max ground clearance and a curb weight of around 4450g (without battery), the Asuga XLR has the size, suspension travel, and component robustness to dominate terrain that defeats smaller buggies — yet remains agile and responsive thanks to its race-derived geometry and premium chassis engineering. Whether you want to bash terrain that dwarfs typical 1/8 buggies or experience large-scale electric off-road like nothing else, the Asuga XLR Roller (Green) is the definitive answer.

Performance Benefits

• Class-defining size and presence: 15% larger than 1/8 buggies, with greater ground clearance, longer suspension travel, and oversized components — the Asuga XLR can absorb terrain that stops smaller buggies cold.
• Full 6S brushless power capability: The Kuron 825 + Torox 185 combo delivers explosive acceleration and sustained high top speeds, with the chassis, drivetrain, and suspension engineered specifically to handle 22.2V power without breaking.
• Race-derived precision in a large-scale package: Despite its size, the Asuga XLR inherits competition-grade geometry, drivetrain, and tuning options from Corally's race lineup — sharp steering, predictable handling, and racer-tunable suspension.
• Bulletproof 6S drivetrain: Hardened S2 steel drive joints, hybrid aluminum/steel central differential, and CNC spiral-cut metal diff gears handle the high torque and impact loads typical of 1/7 scale 6S bashing without stripping.
• Enhanced front-end aerodynamics: The front upper arm aero control kit boosts downforce and steering response at high speeds — a feature you won't find on most bash platforms.
• Massive impact resistance: 8mm aluminum suspension pin holders (with 8× M4 screws each), reinforced chassis side guards, and modern bumpers with integrated skid plates absorb the high-energy impacts that come with 1/7 scale + 6S power.
• Pillow-ball anti-pop-out steering: New pillow-ball securement features specifically prevent the ball pop-out failure common on race-derived steering blocks under extreme loads.
• Tunable suspension geometry: Adjustable composite toe-in modules, multiple shock-mounting positions, and tunable diffs/shocks provide racer-grade adjustability to match any driving style or terrain.
• 6S-matched tire compound: Sprint RXA 130mm tires are specifically compounded for 6S power — providing the grip needed to actually transfer the motor's torque to the ground without immediately spinning out.
• Excellent spares availability: ~70% parts interchangeability with Corally's 1/8 platforms means common wear items are widely available and affordable.
• Custom build freedom: Roller configuration lets you select your own electronics — your favorite 6S ESC, motor, servo, and radio for the perfect personal setup.

Usage Notes

• Roller-specific note: This kit ships without electronics — you must source and install motor, ESC, servo, and radio system separately.
• Break-in period: After installing your electronics, Run the first 2-3 packs at moderate throttle to bed in the gears, drivetrain, and tire glue.
• Driving area: The Asuga XLR's larger size means it needs more open space than a 1/8 buggy — large parking lots, open fields, and dirt tracks are ideal; small yards may feel cramped.
• Diff oil tuning: Three independent diffs let you fine-tune handling — heavier front oil reduces understeer; heavier rear oil increases rear bite; center oil controls power transfer.
• Shock setup: Use heavy silicone oils (~50-60+ wt) and stiff springs for big-air bashing; the 4mm pistons are designed for these heavy oils.
• Toe-in adjustment: The adjustable composite toe blocks let you fine-tune toe-in for different surfaces — more toe-in for stability at high speed; less for sharper turn-in.
• Tire wear: Sprint RXA tires are compounded for grip on 6S — expect faster wear than non-6S-spec tires, especially on abrasive concrete or asphalt.
• Motor temp monitoring: Keep motor temps under 180°F (82°C) under sustained 6S — large-scale buggies generate more drivetrain load than 1/8 platforms.
• Aero kit care: The front upper arm aero kit affects steering at speed — inspect for damage after crashes, and replace if cracked, since damaged aerodynamics can cause unstable handling.
• Splash precaution: Avoid puddles deeper than the wheel hubs and never submerge.
• Maintenance schedule: Inspect after every 5-10 packs of hard bashing — drivetrain, suspension pivots, shock seals, electronics, body mounts, battery strap.
• Battery storage: Always store LiPos at storage voltage (~3.85V/cell) in a fireproof bag.
