Overview
Replace the factory plastic center driveshaft on your Axial SCX10, AX10, Wraith, RR10, or Tamiya CR01 with the Hot Racing Steel CV Center Driveshaft (Short, 95-130mm). CNC-machined from hardened carbon steel with aluminum pin capture rings and rubber o-rings, this premium driveshaft delivers smooth, slop-free power transfer with the durability to handle brushless motors and serious crawling.
The setscrew-free CV pin design eliminates one of the most common failure points of stock driveshafts, while the recommended grease-and-thread-locker installation ensures a long, trouble-free service life. Multiple length options (short/medium/long) let you pick the right driveshaft for any chassis configuration.
Key Features
- CNC-machined hardened carbon steel construction
- Black-finished steel for clean appearance
- Aluminum pin capture rings with rubber o-rings
- Setscrew-free CV pin design
- 5mm output shaft compatibility
- M3 threaded mounting holes
Performance Benefits
- Eliminates the breakage of plastic stock driveshafts
- Smooth power transfer through CV joint
- Handles brushless motor torque
- O-rings prevent pin migration during use
Usage Notes
Requires M3 setscrews or screw pins (e.g., Axial AXA0175) for transmission and differential attachment. Maintain CV joint and shaft spline with grease. Apply removable thread-locker on metal-to-metal threads. Replacement parts: RCV11DH (drive hub), RCV11P (CV rebuild kit), RCV11R (o-rings). Length options: SCP37VS (95-130mm short), SCP37VM (107-142mm medium), SCP37VL (120-155mm long).
