Overview
Eliminate stock plastic driveshaft failures on your Traxxas 2WD Electric Stampede or Rustler with the Hot Racing Heavy Duty CV Splined Drive Shafts. Built around an S2 hardened spring steel stub axle and #45 carbon steel slider/drive hub, these splined star-drive CVD shafts deliver the bulletproof durability that brushless 2WD power demands.
Hard-anodized aluminum sliders, blue-anodized capture rings with rubber O-rings, and integrated rubber dust boots round out a complete, weatherproof driveline upgrade. The capture ring design also eliminates the failure-prone CV pin set screw used in stock components.
Key Features
- Hardened S2 spring steel stub axle
- #45 carbon steel slider and drive hub, hardened
- Hard anodized black aluminum slider
- Blue anodized aluminum pin capture rings with rubber O-rings
- Rubber dust boots protect telescoping slider
- Capture ring design eliminates CV pin set screw
Performance Benefits
- Eliminates stock driveshaft failures under brushless power
- Smooth telescoping CV operation through full suspension travel
- Capture rings prevent pin migration during hard driving
- Dust boots keep grit and debris out of CV joints
- Long service life — outlasts multiple sets of stock parts
Usage Notes
Compatible as either rear or front CV splined drive shafts. Apply medium thread-locker on the included M4x2.5x11mm screw shafts. Re-grease CV joints periodically for best long-term performance.
