Overview
Get bulletproof drivetrain durability with the Hot Racing Heavy Duty Spiral Bevel Gear Set in the stock 38/13 tooth ratio. Precision-machined from high-carbon steel, this gear set replaces the stock differential bevel gears in the Axial AX10, Wraith, Ridgecrest, and SCX10 platforms with a tougher, smoother-running upgrade — without changing the gear ratio.
The spiral cut tooth profile engages more teeth at any moment than straight-cut bevels, delivering smoother power transfer, quieter operation, and far better durability at brushless power levels.
Key Features
- Precision-machined high-carbon steel construction
- 38-tooth ring gear / 13-tooth pinion (stock ratio)
- Spiral cut tooth profile for smoother operation
- Direct replacement for stock differential bevel gears
- Mounts in front or rear gearbox
Performance Benefits
- Bulletproof drivetrain durability under brushless power
- Smoother, quieter operation than straight-cut stock gears
- Maintains stock gear ratio for unchanged final drive
- Long-lasting high-carbon steel construction
Usage Notes
Install following the kit manual. Use one M3x2.5x11mm screw pin during installation — do NOT use the stock 3x3 set screw. Apply proper differential grease during assembly.
