This complete drivetrain housing upgrade includes a CNC-machined billet aluminum transmission case, a CNC-machined 6061 aluminum motor plate with integrated motor heat sink, and CNC-machined left and right aluminum arm mounts — everything you need to upgrade from stock plastic to a fully aluminum drivetrain housing in a single kit.
The aluminum construction dramatically improves chassis rigidity around the drivetrain, while the integrated heat sink on the motor plate helps pull damaging heat away from the motor can. The longer motor mounting slot also accommodates a wider range of pinion/spur gear ratios than stock — perfect for tuners running custom gearing.

This is an EMPTY gear case — gears, shafts, bearings, slipper, spur gear, and other internals are NOT included. Reuse your stock Traxxas transmission internals during assembly. Any transmission peripherals shown in product photos (slipper, spur gear, bearings, etc.) are not included. Apply medium thread-locker on motor mount screws.
