This complete sealed-diff conversion includes a CNC-machined aluminum sealed differential case with a hardened steel cog differential gear — replacing the stock open differential with a fluid-tunable design that lets you dial in chassis balance via diff oil weight changes.
Sealed differentials are a major performance upgrade — they let you tune diff action to current track conditions simply by changing the weight of the diff oil inside. Heavier oil for more grip and stability, lighter oil for sharper rotation. Four O-rings seal against fluid leakage for smooth, leak-free operation that dramatically improves handling consistency.

Usage Notes
This kit includes the sealed case and hardened steel cog gear. Internal differential gears (planetary gears) are not included — reuse your stock Traxxas differential gears during assembly. Fill with diff fluid before final assembly. Start with 5,000-7,500 weight diff oil as a baseline and adjust to taste. Apply removable thread-locker on case screws.
