Overview
Eliminate transmission slip and transfer 100% of your motor's power directly to the drivetrain with the Hot Racing CNC 6061 Aluminum Power-Up Slipper Eliminator Gear Adapter (Short). CNC-machined from solid 6061 aluminum and finished in a striking blue anodized coating, this short-offset slipper eliminator completely replaces the stock slipper assembly with a solid drivetrain coupling — perfect for stock off-road racing classes, oval racing, and any application where slip-free power delivery is critical on the 4WD Traxxas family.
The ~5mm offset short version is sized specifically for the 4WD Traxxas platforms listed below. By eliminating the slipper assembly entirely, you also reduce rotating mass — which translates directly to faster acceleration, sharper throttle response, and more efficient power delivery for serious racers.
Key Features
- CNC-machined 6061 aluminum construction
- Blue anodized finish
- Eliminates transmission slipper assembly entirely
- Lighter rotating mass for faster acceleration
- ~5mm offset (short version)
- Great for stock off-road classes and oval racing
Performance Benefits
- 100% power transmission — no slipper slip
- Faster acceleration from reduced rotating mass
- Sharper throttle response
- More efficient power delivery
- Race-class compliance for slipper-eliminated configurations
Usage Notes
Eliminating the slipper changes how the drivetrain feels — there's no longer any slip protection on hard launches. Consider this only if your driving style or class rules permit it, and only on vehicles where the drivetrain can safely handle direct-drive engagement. Apply removable thread-locker on screws threading into metal during installation. Verify gear mesh after installation.
