Overview
Build the ultimate low-CG front end on your Traxxas TRX-4 with the Hot Racing CNC Solid Brass Super Heavy Steering Knuckles & Portal Gear Cover. CNC-machined from solid brass, this direct-replacement knuckle assembly is the heaviest, most modular brass knuckle option in the Hot Racing TRX-4 lineup — featuring four ways to add weight and three adjustable rotated mounting positions for total weight distribution control.
The 4-way modular weight system lets you progressively build up front-end mass exactly to your preference, while the 3-position rotational adjustment lets you fine-tune where that weight sits on the knuckle for optimized chassis behavior. It's the ultimate platform for serious scale crawler drivers chasing maximum low-CG performance.
Key Features
- CNC-machined solid brass construction
- Super heavy brass for maximum low-mounted weight
- Four ways to add additional weight (modular system)
- Three adjustable rotated mounting positions
- Direct replacement for factory plastic steering knuckles / portal gear cover
Performance Benefits
- Maximum low center of gravity for serious climbing performance
- Best-in-class side-hill stability
- Modular weight system — build up mass progressively
- 3-position rotation lets you fine-tune weight distribution
- Solid brass durability with motorsport-grade machining
Usage Notes
Apply removable thread-locker on screws threading into metal during installation. Use the three rotated mounting positions to fine-tune weight distribution — try each position and evaluate handling differences. Optional add-on weights (sold separately) bolt directly to expand the weight system progressively as your build evolves.
