Overview
Lock down the 5th wheel mount area on your Tamiya 1/14 scale tractor truck with the Hot Racing CNC Aluminum 5th Wheel Mount Top Cross Brace. CNC-machined from solid aluminum, this direct-replacement brace upgrades the stock plastic 5th wheel mount top cross brace with a stronger, more rigid component — exactly where you need maximum stiffness on a tractor truck that lives or dies by its trailer connection.
The 5th wheel mount area takes load from every trailer maneuver — towing, turning, backing, parking. A flexy plastic cross brace allows that load to twist the chassis, compromising trailer stability and making low-speed maneuvers feel sloppy. The aluminum replacement eliminates that flex, locking the 5th wheel mount tight to the chassis for confidence-inspiring trailer behavior.
