Overview
Get a slop-free, race-grade steering setup on your Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer with the Hot Racing Aluminum Fixed Steering Link Set with 25T Clamping Servo Arm. CNC-machined from solid 6061 aluminum and finished in a clean black anodized coating, this complete steering kit eliminates servo saver compliance and replaces stock plastic linkages with rigid, precision aluminum components — perfect for racers running impact-tolerant high-torque servos.
The 25-tooth clamping servo horn locks tightly onto the servo spline for a permanent, vibration-resistant connection, while the aluminum fixed steering links transmit 100% of your servo's output directly to the steering knuckles. The result is sharper, more precise steering response than any servo-saver setup can provide.
Key Features
- CNC-machined 6061 aluminum construction
- Black anodized finish for corrosion resistance and clean looks
- 25-tooth clamping servo horn for permanent spline lock
- Steel pivot balls for smooth, slop-free articulation
- Fixed-link design — no servo saver compliance
Performance Benefits
- Sharper, more precise steering response
- Zero-slop servo-to-steering connection
- Eliminates the flex and stripping of plastic stock parts
- Long-lasting durability under high steering loads
- Better consistency lap-to-lap and run-to-run
Usage Notes
Direct-drive (fixed) steering links transmit all servo torque directly — recommended only for use with high-torque, impact-rated servos. Verify your servo uses a 25-tooth spline before installation. Apply removable thread-locker on the clamp screw and other fasteners during installation.
