CNC-machined from solid 6061 aluminum in a one-piece design, this tie bar installs between the skid plate and lower bulkhead to lock the rear bulkhead and lower hinge pin assemblies firmly in place — eliminating one of the most common sources of rear-end flex and pin walk on the X-Maxx.
Under the brutal cornering and landing loads of an 8S X-Maxx, the stock plastic-area pin retention can flex and allow the lower hinge pins to walk, leading to inconsistent suspension geometry and accelerated wear. This aluminum tie bar fixes that problem permanently.
