Overview
The K&S Metals Aluminum Streamline Tube measures 3/8" OD with a 0.016" wall and 35" length, and is supplied in a 4-piece pack of 3003-alloy aluminum. Streamline (teardrop) cross-section provides aerodynamic efficiency for landing gear, wing struts, and structural members in RC aircraft, model planes, and aerospace mock-ups, combining low drag with aluminum's signature light weight.
Key Features
- 3/8" streamline (teardrop) cross-section
- 0.016" wall thickness
- 4 tubes per pack at 35" length
- 3003 aluminum alloy - light, strong, corrosion resistant
Performance Benefits
- Aerodynamic teardrop profile reduces drag in airflow
- Lightweight aluminum minimizes structural weight
- Naturally corrosion resistant for outdoor and humid service
Usage Notes
- Ideal for RC aircraft landing gear, wing struts, and aerospace mock-ups
- Cut with fine-tooth saw and deburr edges before assembly
- Drill carefully - the elongated profile requires support
