Overview
The Kyosho Inferno NEO 4.0 is a 1/8 scale nitro-powered 4WD off-road racing buggy delivered as a factory-assembled Readyset (RTR). It is based on Kyosho's competition Inferno chassis, the platform that has won races worldwide, and is set up so beginners can learn on it while experienced drivers still get a race-bred buggy. This version wears the Teal/Black Color Type 2 painted body.
The chassis comes with a .21 class Kyosho KE21 nitro engine with pull starter already installed, plus the steering and throttle servos and the Syncro KT-231P+ 2.4GHz pistol-grip radio. Power reaches all four wheels through a shaft-driven 4WD drivetrain with front, center and rear differentials, and double disc brakes handle stopping.
The suspension uses double wishbone arms with adjustable links and large-volume oil-filled shocks, and pre-mounted KC Cross tires on spoke wheels provide grip on dirt and mixed surfaces. With a 325.5mm wheelbase and a weight of about 3,400g, it is a full-size 1/8 buggy suitable for club tracks as well as open areas.

Usage Notes
- Nitro (glow) engine – requires glow fuel, a glow plug igniter and a proper engine break-in before hard running
- Kyosho recommends 20–30% nitro glow fuel
- 8 AA alkaline batteries power the transmitter and the receiver
- Run in open areas or tracks; nitro engines are loud and produce exhaust
- Clean and after-run oil the engine after each session to prevent corrosion
- Suitable for beginners through experienced drivers; adult supervision recommended for younger users
