Overview
This Kyosho one-piece 13-tooth clutch bell is a lightweight option part from the Inferno MP9 option line. The clutch bell is the drum the clutch shoes grip, and its gear teeth drive the spur gear, so it acts as both the clutch drum and the drivetrain pinion on a Kyosho 1/8 nitro car.
Large vents are cut into the bell to remove material. This lowers its weight and rotating mass compared with a solid bell, so the engine spends less energy spinning the drum up.

Performance Benefits

Usage Notes
- Clutch bell bearings are not included; reuse your existing bearings if they are in good condition or replace them at the same time
- Check gear mesh with the spur gear after fitting and adjust if needed
- A smaller clutch bell lowers top speed, so check engine temperature and gearing to suit your track
- Check clutch shoes and bell bearings regularly; worn bearings shorten clutch bell life
