Overview
This genuine Kyosho 13-tooth drive bevel gear is a replacement part for Kyosho's 1/8 scale Inferno platform and related models. It is the small pinion-style bevel gear on the input shaft of the differential. It meshes with the differential ring gear and turns drive from the center driveshaft into rotation of the front or rear differential.
The gear is made of steel to handle the load of nitro and brushless power. A drive bevel gear with worn or chipped teeth can make noise, slip under load and damage the ring gear it runs against. Replacing it keeps the differential running smoothly.
