Overview
The Power Hobby 4S 14.8V 5200mAh 50C LiPo Battery (part number PHB4S520050CLCGXT90) is a four-cell lithium-polymer pack built for 4S-capable electric RC vehicles. It pairs a 5200mAh capacity with a 50C continuous discharge rating, so it has both the runtime for long sessions and the current delivery for hard acceleration and high-load motor systems.
The pack ships pre-wired with an XT90 connector, and uses an LCG (low centre of gravity) hard case for cell protection. A standard JST-XH balance lead is fitted for balance charging.
Key Features
- 4S 14.8V four-cell LiPo configuration
- 5200mAh capacity
- 50C continuous discharge rating
- Pre-wired XT90 connector
- LCG (low centre of gravity) hard case construction
Performance Benefits
- 5200mAh gives long run times between charges
- 50C discharge supports high-current motor and ESC combinations
- 4S voltage delivers noticeably more speed and punch than 2S or 3S setups
- XT90 is a high-current connector suited to big-power systems
- Low-profile LCG shape lowers the centre of gravity for better cornering
Usage Notes
- Confirm your ESC, motor and speed controller are rated for 4S before use
- Charge only with a balancing LiPo charger on the correct cell count
- Store at roughly 3.8V per cell and never discharge below 3.0V per cell
- Check that the pack and connector fit your battery tray before ordering
