The Rage R/C Tribus 250 is a unique three-way Ready-To-Fly amphibious RC airplane — its name comes from the Latin word for three, because it flies like an airplane and can also take off from both water and dry land. Finished in a bold orange trim scheme, the Tribus is easy to spot when flying with a friend's matching blue model.
Twin 8623 coreless motors paired with the high-capacity 1S 800mAh LiPo battery generate ample power and long run times — over 15 minutes per charge. A 6-axis gyro keeps the airplane stable for beginners, while a 2g waterproof proportional servo gives precise elevator control. If the Tribus ever flips on the water, the Reverse Return feature slowly drives it back to shore so it can quickly dry off before another flight. EPP foam construction is lightweight and durable, and the 3-channel 2.4GHz radio is included with a 3-in-1 ESC/Gyro/Receiver onboard.

Usage Notes
Designed for calm water (ponds, pools, calm lake areas) and smooth, dry takeoff surfaces. Best in light winds — the lightweight 1.9 oz airframe is sensitive to gusts. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure (saltwater operation not recommended). Charge LiPo battery in a fire-safe location. Recommended for ages 14+.
