Overview
The RPM Front A-Arms for the Team Associated Pro2 SC10 and Trophy Rat are designed to dramatically improve crash survivability over stock A-arms. RPM started by increasing the material surrounding the hinge pins, then replaced offset button-head screws with in-line screws—a tried-and-true method of improving strength by eliminating extra holes where cracks can start.
The support beams on RPM A-arms got serious muscle. Stock front A-arms are roughly 0.3" (7.62mm) thick at their thickest. RPM A-arms are a full 0.4" (10.16mm) thick over nearly their entire length, tapering only slightly at the hinge pins to match maximum allowable boss size. The support beam width is also beefier throughout. All RPM A-arms are molded from a nearly indestructible blend of engineering-grade nylons.
