Overview
The RPM Front Skid Plate for the Team Associated Rival MT8 is designed to improve durability and help protect the exposed aluminum chassis. RPM extended the skid plate rearward, covering more of the chassis and protecting it from harmful rocks and debris. The rear gearbox screws now support the lengthened skid plate for added stability.
RPM eliminated the front M3 x 14mm button-head screw as integral to the skid plate design, allowing them to reshape the skid plate for additional durability. As a bonus, three low-friction skid rails make transitions over tall obstacles easier and less likely to stop you in your tracks, while also increasing strength and wear resistance.
