Overview
The RPM Shock Shaft Guards for Traxxas GTR shocks are the ultimate upgrade to protect your expensive shocks. Rocks, dirt, and debris striking shock shafts lead to dents, dings, and burrs. Damaged shock shafts lead to torn shock seals, which means leaky shocks and poor shock performance. RPM Shock Shaft Guards shield the shaft from these deteriorating elements, prolonging shock shaft life.
RPM Shock Shaft Guards feature a simple two-piece design. The guards replace your stock shock spring cup, then a thin but tough shield rises up to the base of the shock body. This shield completely blocks debris from striking the shock shaft while the open back and sides prevent mud and gunk from building inside. The front shield covers over 100 degrees of frontal exposure, and the guards are zero-friction protection devices—they never touch the moving shock elements.
Key Features
- Two-piece design replaces stock spring cups
- Covers over 100 degrees of frontal exposure
- Zero-friction design (never touches moving parts)
- Open back prevents debris buildup inside
- Set of 4 for complete vehicle coverage
- Made in the USA
Performance Benefits
- Protects expensive shock shafts from damage
- Extends shock seal life
- Prolongs time between shock rebuilds
- Maintains smooth shock performance
- Prevents costly shock shaft replacement
Usage Notes
Fits all Traxxas GTR shocks but only works with 4x4 versions of the Slash, Rustler, Stampede, and Hoss. Due to space constraints, some inner shock mount positions may not be compatible. NOT compatible with UDR or Revo.
