Overview
The Tamiya 1/12 Lotus Type 78 w/Photo-Etched Parts Plastic Model recreates the famous Lotus Type 78 driven by Mario Andretti and Gunnar Nilsson. The Type 78 made its name as the first full-fledged wing car in Formula One.
Its slender wedge-shaped body and inverted wing-shaped side pontoons produced greater downforce without increasing air resistance, and this kit captures it in detail with photo-etched parts.
