Unlike solid spools or open differentials, this oil-filled gear differential allows you to tune the amount of differential slip by changing the silicone oil weight, giving you precise control over handling characteristics.
Oil gear differentials offer the best of both worlds—smooth differential action for cornering while providing adjustable resistance that can be tuned for different track conditions. Thicker oil provides more locked behavior, while thinner oil allows more differential slip.
