Overview
The Tamiya 1/48 U.S. Howitzer Carriage M8 recreates the 75mm Howitzer Motor Carriage M8, a U.S. self-propelled howitzer of World War II. Built on the same chassis as the M5 Stuart tank, the M8 carried an M116 howitzer in an M7 mount.
Around 1,800 were built from September 1942 to early 1944, serving in Italy, Western Europe and the Pacific. This is a completely new kit design based on intensive research of the actual vehicle.
