Description
Overview
The Tamiya 1/35 German Nashorn Heavy Tank Destroyer recreates one of WWII's most formidable anti-tank platforms. The Nashorn ("Rhinoceros") mounted the devastating 8.8cm PaK 43 gun on a light, turretless chassis, creating a vehicle capable of penetrating 190mm of armor at 1,000 meters. This exceptional firepower made the Nashorn a feared opponent on both the Eastern and Western fronts.
Despite being lightly armored, the Nashorn's superior firepower and mobility compared to heavier tanks kept it in production until the end of WWII. This highly detailed model was developed using research from an actual vehicle preserved in a Russian museum, ensuring exceptional accuracy throughout.
