The Tamiya 1/35 German Wespe Self-Propelled Howitzer recreates one of the Wehrmacht's most successful artillery platforms. Built on the Panzer II chassis, the Wespe (German for "Wasp") mounted the 10.5cm leFH 18/2 howitzer in an open-topped fighting compartment. Over 680 Wespes were produced, providing mobile artillery support on both the Eastern and Western fronts.
