Originally developed for commando units, the Kettenkraftrad proved invaluable on the poor terrain of the Eastern Front, where it transported materials, personnel, and even towed light artillery pieces.
This kit depicts the mid-production variant, which was the most prolifically manufactured version. The model features incredible detail including a realistic suspension system, complex wheel positions based on research of actual vehicles, and photo-etched parts for the engine grille.
