Overview
The Tamiya 1/35 German Panzer IV Ausf.G recreates one of the most important variants of Germany's legendary medium tank. The Ausf.G featured the long-barreled KwK 40 L/43 gun, a critical upgrade that came after combat experience against Soviet armor proved the inadequacy of earlier short-barreled weapons. Produced between March 1942 and June 1943, approximately 1,687 Ausf.G tanks were manufactured.
This highly detailed plastic model kit captures the distinctive features of the Ausf.G variant including its new mantlet design, cradle, and the extra armor plates that were added during the production run. With accessories depicting North African theater equipment and four detailed crew figures, this kit offers an exceptional building and display experience.
