The full-size Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR Berlina Corse became European Touring Car Championship class champion in 1968 and 1969. Based upon the compact 2-door Fiat 600, it was tuned by Abarth for racing with a muscular form featuring front and rear overfenders, a large radiator cover integrated with the front bumper, and a horizontally-opened engine hood. Its 982cc inline-4 engine was capable of over 110hp, delivering powerful performance from a tiny package.
