Overview
This Tamiya option part is a pair of steel cup joints (left and right) designed for the TRF417 Gear Differential Unit II (Item 42197). They replace the aluminum cup joints supplied with that differential unit.
Steel offers greater durability than the standard aluminum parts. With these cups fitted, the Pin Protector (Y1) can be removed, making it easier to run high-powered motors in TRF417-based touring cars.
