Overview
The Tamiya 5.5x0.5mm POM Spacer set gives you four thin shims molded in polyacetal (POM), a hard, self-lubricating engineering resin. They are used wherever a small amount of clearance needs to be taken up or a rotating part needs to be positioned precisely without adding friction.
Because POM is slick and dimensionally stable, these spacers work well against both metal and plastic surfaces - on shafts, screws, suspension pivots and drivetrain components - where a metal washer would bind or wear. Each spacer is 5.5mm in outside diameter and 0.5mm thick.
