Overview
The Tamiya Monster Beetle 2015 is the triumphant return of one of RC's most iconic and characterful machines. Originally released in 1986, the Monster Beetle captured the imagination of hobbyists with its stylized Volkswagen Beetle body perched atop monster truck wheels for rough-and-tumble off-road adventure. This updated 2015 re-release maintains the classic appeal while incorporating modern improvements, making it perfect for both nostalgic veterans and newcomers to the RC hobby.
The realistic customized Beetle body is depicted in tough polystyrene resin, with metal-plated parts for door handles and headlight frames adding premium finishing touches. A resin driver figure completes the characterful appearance. The hardy rear-wheel drive chassis features a durable ABS space frame designed to withstand all-action off-road driving, with CVA oil dampers supporting double wishbone front and trailing arm rear suspension setups for superior handling across rough terrain.
