Overview
The Tamiya 1992 Audi V8 Touring RC assembly kit brings legendary German Touring Car Championship (DTM) dominance to your workbench in stunning 1/10 scale detail. The Audi V8 achieved back-to-back DTM championships in 1990 and 1991, and this kit recreates the 1992 iteration featuring a more powerful 3.6-liter V8 engine and improvements across the board. Powered by Audi's famed quattro four-wheel drive, the V8 Touring demonstrated overwhelming strength, including a clean sweep of the podium in the first race at the Nürburgring.
Built on Tamiya's versatile TT-02 shaft-driven 4WD chassis, this kit faithfully captures the V8's powerful touring car form with a polycarbonate body and highly realistic front and rear light cases. The authentic detailing includes slimline side mirrors and comprehensive livery stickers to recreate the iconic red racing sections. With silver mesh wheels, racing slicks, and included motor and ESC, this kit delivers DTM championship heritage with accessible RC performance.
