Overview
The Tamiya Alpine A110 Jägermeister 1973 RC assembly kit celebrates one of rally racing's most iconic French sports cars in its legendary orange livery. The Alpine A110 was a compact coupe featuring a lightweight FRP body based upon a steel backbone chassis with rear-mounted inline-4 engine positioned longitudinally. Production continued from 1963 until 1977, and the A110 achieved motorsport fame with victory at the 1971 Monte Carlo Rally before becoming the first World Rally Champion in 1973.
This particular version recreates the Jägermeister orange livery that achieved class victory in German circuit races. Built on Tamiya's rear-motor, rear-wheel-drive M-06 chassis, the kit authentically replicates the A110's compact coupe form with a polycarbonate body, separate ABS headlights, bumpers, and detailed side mirrors with metal-plated surfaces. The M-06's RR layout mirrors the real car's engine placement for authentic driving characteristics.
