Overview
Tekno RC TKR1603 is a 10-piece pack of M5x4mm set screws in a black finish, supplied as genuine Tekno replacement hardware. A set screw, or grub screw, threads fully into the part with no protruding head, so it clamps or locates a component without sitting proud of the surface.
M5 is the largest set screw thread in Tekno's hardware range, used where the clamp has to hold against real load. Set screws are also among the most commonly damaged fasteners on a race car, because their shallow hex sockets strip if the driver is not seated square, so a spare pack is cheap insurance.
