Overview
Mud guards are the parts that keep the inside of a buggy looking new. This is the left-side battery tray mud guard for the Tekno EB48 1/8 scale 4WD electric buggy, the molded panel that seals the battery side of the chassis against the roost coming off the tires.
It is a small, inexpensive part that does a big job, so it is worth having a spare in the pit box. Guards eventually crack, warp from heat or get torn in a rollover, and a damaged one lets dirt and water straight into the chassis.
