Overview
Differential outdrives are the cups that take drive out of the diff and pass it into the driveshafts. These are Tekno RC's lightened center diff outdrives for the EB48 1/8 scale buggy, so they sit in the middle of the drivetrain feeding the front and rear center shafts.
The lightened design removes material where it is not needed, which cuts rotating mass right at the heart of the driveline. Outdrives are also a wear item, so a fresh set is the fix for a center diff that has developed play or noise.
