Overview
This Tekno RC CNC 40T differential ring gear is one half of the 12/40 ring and pinion set for Tekno RC EB48 and NB48 2.x 1/8 scale buggies. It must be used with its counterpart, the TKR9153 12T pinion.
This is the stock ratio included in the EB48 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 and NB48 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 kits. According to Tekno RC, the 12/40 set gives a final drive ratio of 12.3077 and offers more punch with a little more rolling resistance, suited to small tracks with many 180-degree turns.
